Rare or localised Outstanding size The largest example within a stand of mature Mountain Ash (Eucalyptus regnans), the tree's major interest is its easterly location and mature form. A second tree located further south with a hollow trunk has a girth of 9.3m. Another large stand occurs along Hensleigh Creek Road although these trees are not as large. Outstanding size A stand of approximately fifty Mountain Ash (Eucalyptus regnans) growing on steep land to the east of the Barham River West Branch.The trees are even in size; many with a circumference of 10-12m.The understorey is very dense although the tops of all the trees have been lost in storms and exhibit large dead branches at the top of the crown. Outstanding size The stand includes the tallest known tree in Victoria (The Big Tree) and is located near the old Cambarville Mill in the Cumberland Valley. As the area escaped the 1939 fires, it contains one of the few remaining virgin stands of Mountain Ash in Victoria. Outstanding size A magnificent Eucalyptus regnans (Mountain Ash), known as the Ada Tree, growing in isolation along a small gully dominated by Nothofagus cunninghamii (Myrtle Beech).
