Church Statement of Significance: One of Melbourne's earliest bluestone churches, of which the four bay nave of 1850-1 was designed by Newson & Blackburn. Dudley House was erected in 1858-59 by the Public Works Department and originally served as the district lands office. The two storey brick structure has a rendered facade. The street front comprises a triple arch single storey arcade with three matching windows behind and on the first floor.
