Rare and localised This species occurs only in the Warby Ranges in Victoria, although it is relatively common on the western slopes and plains regions of NSW. The species is restricted to granite outcrops in the Ranges and occurs in several isolated communities. Rare or localised Acacia decora is found in Qld, NSW and Victoria. This stand is a disjunct community growing on a disused roadside 2.2km from Thoona. The population is sparsely spread but there is evidence of regeneration. The group of this rare acacia possibly presents the best area in which to conserve the species.
