Old Police Residence, Jika Street, Heidelberg, is a single storey bluestone structure believed to have been erected circa 1860, presumably to designs by the Public Works Department of Victoria. Asymmetrically composed, the structure has a projecting wing, with twelve-pane sash, quoins and window surrounds. There is a timber verandah arranged in four bays.
