Built in the late 1890s, this three storeyed red brick and plaster building forms a gateway to Little Bourke Street with the Exford Hotel opposite. The building addresses the corner site with a splayed corner flanked by double pilasters. The building uses relatively simple decorative devices to produce a lively effect with repetitive segmental arches on the first floor and round headed arches on the second floor topped by triangular pediments.
