Contribution to landscape Rare or localised: These trees are the only known examples in cultivation in Victoria. Unfortunately both trees have been overcrowded and have not developed an attractive form. A feature of the tree is the very large double-pinnate leaves, some up to 75cm long. Male and female trees. An oblong pod (8.3cm) is produced and the seeds have been used as a coffee substitute. Native to eastern USA. Jan 2013. Main tree has been removed. ... more |
