A pleasant rural valley, enclosed by forested slopes of But But (E. bridgesiana) and Brittle Gum (E. mannifera). The steeply sided timbered ranges provide complete contrast to the flat valley floor. Vegetation on the river flats consists of River Red Gum (E. camaldulensis) and Swamp Gum (E. ovata). The exotics include mature willows, magnolias, poplars and elms.
