Gatehouse - St Albans Homestead

Built in 1890-91 by Henderson and Marryat, this red brick gatehoue was added by John Grozier to St Albans although subsequent subdivision of the estate has diverted the driveway. This very elaborately carved and painted timber lych gate which was probably built about 1890 along with the house, serves as the entrance gate from the pavement to number 49 Chrystobel Crescent.
