Typical example of a Victoria-style larger residence of the 1880's boom

Description
Large brick and stone house. Interesting in that the rear faces the street, and the front faces north. Stone foundations and the house is built of solid hand-made brick with a corrugated iron hipped roof. Much use of Queen Anne quoining.In excellent condition and as original except the front verandah has been removed. . (Tansley, 1978)
