Lockwood Church was built in 1925 on the north side of Lockwood Rd, Belgrave South before being relocated to its present site. The congregation of St Martin's Church of England left their church and hall in Belgrave South and purchased the Lockwood church c.1960s, renaming it, St Martin's Church of England.
