Statement of Significance

The sole physical remains of the region's wheat farming era of the 1850's and 1860's. Also significant because it was one of the first flour mills built in Victoria. It was also one of the first landmarks in the area, and existed before the Lilydale township. (Tansley, 1978)

Description

The remains of the old flour mill comprise its stone foundations and part of two walls still standing to a height of approximately 5 metres. (Tansley, 1978)
