Statement of Significance

One of only two early banks in the region. Interesting architecturally.

Description

A solid brick building originally constructed as a bank and residence during late 1870's. The bricks are hand-made and the walls are tuck-pointed. Corrugated iron gabled roof with unusual tessalated barge fascios. Unusual long windows with arched tops. Well constructed. (Tansley, 1978)

Now a private residence.
