Details |
A fire in the lime cargo was discovered about 9 pm. The Footscray Fire Brigade, called to the scene, extinguished the flames that had burnt through the deck, leaving the fire smouldering below. Vessel hauled across to east bank of River the next day where it burnt right through and broke in two.
