Details |
Huddart Parker's interstate passenger steamer Riverina went ashore on the beach near Tullaberga Island during a gale in April 1927. Salvage efforts were unsuccessful and the vessel was stripped and then abandoned. It was used for target practice by the RAAF during World War II.
