Description:

On 14th November 1965, the Oakleigh Cenotaph was moved from Dandenong and Warrigal Roads to Warrawee Park on Drummond Street. The Cenotaph was originally unveiled by Major General C.H. Brand on 12th November 1933 in memory of the First World War. Inscriptions were added for the Second World War and on Remembrance Day 1979 the cenotaph was re-dedicated to Korea, Malaya and Vietnam.
