Building was commenced in 1864 and by 1877 contained eleven rooms including a ballroom. Construction is of brick, now rendered and painted, with a slate roof. Lintels to two doorways are decorated with effigies of St Patrick. The house is known as St Patrick's house and follows the use of the name St Patrick's Cottage given to the original building. The verandah was erected in 1937 and is not included in the classification. Classified: 20/12/1978
