Designed by the Ararat architect, Michael Ryan for a local auctioneer, John Young, and built in 1904, Yetholm is a conservative Edwardian country house. It is of brick, single-storied and has a verandah along three major elevations. Internal fibrous plaster decoration and classical doorcases are to be noted.
