Two-storey mansion with single-storey wings built of bluestone with quoins, window architraves, and parapet (from which cornice has been removed) of dressed freestone, central stone porch with paired columns and timber veranda (now lacking its decorative detail) across front and around sides. Cast by T & M Woolley, corner of King and Goerge Street (NB mis-spelling of George) Sydney. Anthony Cowie and David Stead took up land near Geelong c. 1837 where the bell was hung on a post and used to call the stationhands to meals and possibly as an alarm.
