Fine example of the species
Both trees area outstanding examples of the Carob and are of considerable size. The specimen located at the back of the homestead is in good condition. The specimen in the garden next to the homestead has several basal cavities and branch decay due to poor pruning in the past. Both trees require surgery to ensure their long-term survival.
Ballam Park was built in 1855 by Frederick Evelyn Liardet.
