Statement of Significance

Two houses built as family homes by Mr Samuel Burston in 1880. Samuel Burston was the founder of Samuel Burston and Co. Maltsters. After amalgamation in 1912 the company became known as Barrett Burston (Australia) Ltd. Demolished late 1961.
