Statement of Significance

Outstanding size

This tree was believed to be planted by original owner, Tully,who was part of the area's earliest orchardist families dating back to 1860. It has an unusal form with no central leader and 2 major limbs to the north and west. The canopy of the tree occupies the entire width of this land and half of the neighbouring land to the west which the owners have purchased in order to retain the tree.
