A very large remnant tree, it lost its leader during growth but this has been replaced. Originally on e of a pair, the other tree feell down some years ago. . This form had a scattered distribution in the area. Victorian variety may be described at Sydney Herbarium as separate from E. globulus subsp. bicostata.
