Contribution to historic garden

The exact date of the establishment of this garden is not known but thought to be circa 1900. The property is located on the side of a volcanic cone and gives extensive views to the east. The tree is set in a parkland surrounded by other exotic species, including Quercus robur, Cedrus atlantica f. glauca, Cedrus deodra, Waterhousea floribunda and Fraxinus sp.
The tree is located on the south-east corner of the homestead
