Centrally located in a largely neglected garden, these trees are a prominent feature due to their location and absence of surrounding mature trees. The garden is thought to have been laid out when the bluestone homestead was completed in 1874 for Alexander Dennis. It is a fascinating and unusual pattern still in its original form. The garden contains a number of rare plants
