Outstanding size A very straight specimen with a clean trunk to about 25m. and known
locally as The Big Tree. This eucalyptus has some of the longest
leaves of this genus, up to 35 cm with a slight sickle shape. Flower
buds are white and are shaped much like a cylinder with a cone-shaped
tip. Fruit are barrel-shaped 1 cm long. Measurements: April 2004

It is located approximately
3km along the road on the left, near Mirboo North and the surrounding
area is well maintained for access and viewing. The canopy has been
pruned significantly.
