Contribution to historic garden A very large spreading tree which is a major feature of the Hopetoun Lawn in the Royal Botanic Gardens. It is the largest and finest example of the species known and is thought to be a remnant of the 'pinetum' established by Mueller in the 1860s. Surprisingly, this species is rarely cultivated in Victoria. It has a lean to the north - west but is otherwise in good condition. Measurements: 04/07/1990 Access: Unrestricted
