Outstanding size

This specimen marks the site of the Mine Manager's house and the Township of Tabletop in the Strathbogie Ranges. The townh was destroyed by bushfires in the 1920s. This tree was planted circa 1891 growing in association with other fruit trees and bulbs. The tree has a large basal cavity ( fire damage) and would benefit from soil improvement and control of plants around base.
