Outstanding size

An outstanding example of its species, a native of New Zealand, The only other known tree of similar size is in the Royal Botanic Gardens (New Zealand Section). In its native habitat the species grows to a very large size developing a single trunk. In cultivation in Victoria, however, the species tend to develop multi-trunks and be low branching.
