10-50 known specimens

A fairly mature tree with dense foliage growing in lawn area south-south-east of the main house.This species is rarely planted nowadays. The tree may hae been planted by Madame Weigel in the 1880s when she began the layout and planting of the garden at Drusilla. Other examples occur at St Kilda Botanic Gardens and Creswick Foresty School.
