A fine specimen of this rare tree species. Smaller than the other known specimen at Eastern Park. The tree has a large number of clustered cones and a habit similar to H.macrocarpa. This tree is amongst an important botanical planting in the Park comprising H.goveniana, H.sempervirens (narrow form), Pinus torreyana and Juniperus excelsa.
