Historic garden or park A large spreading specimen of an uncommon native of the Canary Islands. The tree is notable for its large glossy green leaves. A tall example of this species occurs in the Botanic Gardens, south of the residence. Other examples are known at the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Anzac Hostel.
