Statement of Significance

Rare or Localised: disjunct community

Located in a suburban woodland setting these trees represent the southern-most occurrence of the species. An uncommon species in southern Victoria it is normally restricted to Alpine regions. Being located within a public reserve, the trees are not threatened, however slashing around the fringe may limit regeneration.
