Location or Context: Historic garden or park.
Rare or Localised: 1-10 known specimens.
An oustanding specimen of this rare species. The tree is a prominent feature of the garden of this 1910 homestead. The only other know example occurs at Taylor and Sangsters Nursery, Mt Macedon, which also has a gold coloured form. It is interesting to note that an employee of Taylor & Sangster, Mr Fleming, laid out the garden at Wombat Park circa 1911. The tree requires removal of internal watershoots and any reverting green branches. A young tree has been planted near the tennis court
