Outstanding size

Located on Chettle Track, 100 mtrs East of Garner Break and 300 mtrs South of Chettle Track, this is a massive example of the species and the third tallest known in Victoria, (after Munro's Pile and Code's Pile, Barmah Forest). Not of 'pile' form this tree has an outstanding girth, some 5 metres greater than the Barmah pair. The tree has several dead 'stags', two large burls and a wide upright crown. The tree stands out from the trees in the surrounding forest..
