These are two Impressive plantings, particularly those near the main entrance.The Ulmus glabra 'Camperdownii' is a cultivar which cannot reproduce from seed. Circa 1840, the Earl of Camperdown's head forester, David Taylor, discovered a mutant contorted branch growing along the ground in the forest at Camperdown House, Dundee in Scotland and grafted it to become a new cultivar and a popular landscape tree
