Outstanding size
This large and attractive specimen, comprising six main trunks dominates the surrounding smaller Snow Gums. It was already known by the cattlemen who worked the run in the late 1800s and is rivalled only by the 'King Billy Tree' at Mansfield. It is well regarded as being the largest example of the species on the Bogong High Plains.
The tree is located 25m south of entrance to Kelly's Hut Reserve, 100m from Fitzgerald's Hut
