Curious growth form

This is an unusual example of tree fusion in which a limb from the western tree has grown into another now nearby dead tree The crown of the western tree now forms the present crown.The limb has grown to a very large size and it is expected that eventually the trunk of the dead tree will decay.
E. camaldulensis is inexticably linked to watercourses within Australia, and is the widest natural distribution of any eucalyptus species.
The tree is located near corner of Racecourse Road.
