Outstanding example of species

This tree, located between the first and ninth fairways, is an outstanding example of its species. The tree's compact crown and spreading canopy and excellent branch structure is almost touching the ground and makes it especially attractive.
The Port Jackson Fig (Ficus rubiginosa) is normally found from north Queensland southwards along the eastern coastline of Australia to the vicinity of Bega on the south coast of NSW.
Other specimens occur near the Clubhouse but are overcrowded.
