Outstanding size

A very large and prominent tree growing in the township of Stanley. Its position on a slight curve in the main street enhances its prominence. .
02/1986 The tree is in a declining condition due to a failure to recognise its growth requirements The soil is severely compacted beneath the canopy - the terminal dieback being largely attributed to this.
09/04/2010 The tree is now reported to be in fenced private property and in better condition
