This stand is a disjunct community of about 100 trees, growing in association with Forest Red Gum (Eucalyptus tereticornis) and Sweet Bursaria. (Bursaria spinosa)
Although common at sub- alpine regions in Victoria , these trees can be found at lowland locations where they called White Sallee. The road easement on which the Snow Gums occur is surrounded by cleared land, so it is probable that the population was more extensive prior to clearing.
Located on Meerlieu-Bengworden Road, west of Tom's Creek, 5km from Bengworden.
