Outstanding size

An outstanding example of this subspecies, this tree is possibly the largest known in the region, towering above the other vegetation in this open forest. A large scar occurs on the south side of the trunk and much of the tree's crown occupies the south side.
Distinguished by its large fruit and tough reddish bark.
Located on the west side of Whelan Road, 500m from junction of Springs Road, west of Valencia Creek, in State Forest.
