Contribution to the landscape

This is the only specimen of Mountain Ash (Eucalyptus regnans) in a stand of approximately 40 Eucalypts. The tree is particularly old and unusual for that part of the Shire. This roadside stand of Eucalypts constitutes virtually the last remaining example of natural vegetation near the township of Warragul.
