This tree was planted by Mary Agnes O'Rourke, circa 1870, and a pioneer settler at Black Mountain Station. Given the hostile climate, the tree is in remarkably good condition although extension growth appears to be small.
This tree is located on the south bank of Little River, north of the bridge on Gelantipy-Jindabyne Road, Black Mountain Station.
