This is an outstanding group of trees near the southern limit of the species' distribution. The stand includes seedlings, young and mature specimens and has been fenced off from stock grazing. Most of the trees were ringbarked in the 1920s but have recovered well. The property is currently under the protection of the Parks Victoria.
This tree is located in the northern aspect south of Maringa Creek.
