This is a very large and dominant tree located in a small park. The Sugar Gum has a large trunk with wide-spreading and well-shaped crown. formed by the three large upright branches.
This tree is one of the finest examples of the species known in Victoria and was planted by 13 year old John Robert Sydes in 1934 for the Nyah West Primary School Arbour Day.
