A tree of a species or variety that is rare or of very localised distribution.
An attractive weeping specimen being a single occurrence of about 250 trees located in the Piambie area. These trees represent the only occurrence of the species in Victoria. This tree is notable for its canopy which reaches ground level. Another single specimen with a wide spreading crown occurrs in the paddock west of the homestead. Wilga Park was owned by Burt Curtis who established a large collection of native plants, and a few young Wilgas grow around the homestead.
This tree is located at Wilga Park, Kenley Road, Piambie,outside the front door of the main homestead.
