Contribution to the landscape
Rare or localised
These trees appear to have been severely pollarded at 3.5m but still make an impressive contribution to the landscape. An uncommon cultivar in Victoria, with other known occurrences at Wallan, Gisborne, Kyneton and Fawkner Park.
The measured tree, at the northern end, is the largest known example in Victoria.
