This tree is an unusual example of a scarred tree. Some years ago the tree blew over but continued to grow. Part of the root system is exposed and adventicious shoots have grown either end of the scar.
The tree is located north from Dutson Road, via Legges Lane,2.5 kmeast ofthe RAAF Bombing Range gate. The GPS coordinates are for the gate 2.5km from tree.
