This tree is an outstanding specimen of state significance. It is the largest known specimen in cultivation in Victoria (1981). and is a native of the coastal region from the NSW border to Rockhampton. The genus Angophora is closely allied to Corymbia and Eucalyptus but with a different leaf structure
