A single tree on the south bank of the roadside from which the surrounding vegetation has been cleared. A venerable specimen of a species confined to East Gippsland and extending into NSW. Two large branches form the crown and the tree has some dieback. Elaeocarpus holopetalus is a small rainforest tree that grows at high altitude in gullies. It often coexists with the Southern Sassafras
The tree is located off Errinundra Road, 500m from the intersection with Gunmark Road, on the roadside, westside.
